This policy explains what information the Sparrow Sprint application (the "App") processes, why, and your rights under applicable laws including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology Rules, 2021, the EU/UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Quebec's Law 25, the Korean Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), Japan's APPI, Singapore PDPA, Brazil's Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD), and the Australian Privacy Act.
The App is an entirely offline arcade game that runs without a user account and without any tracking identifier:
Under EU/UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) the limited processing described above is necessary to deliver the service you have asked for (running the game and remembering your high score). Under India's DPDP Act, no personal data within the meaning of the Act is processed by the App, so consent under § 6 is not engaged. No consent banner is required because we do not set tracking cookies, do not use the data for profiling, and do not share it with advertising partners.
Because the App stores nothing about you on our servers, we have nothing to retain. Local game state stays on your device until you uninstall the App or clear its data from system Settings.
Gameplay makes no network calls and we run no backend, so no personal data crosses any border at our side. Opening the legal documents in-app loads them from our website like any web page visit. The Google Play Store delivers the App through Google's global infrastructure under Google's own terms.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to processing, and request portability of your personal data. Since we do not hold any personal data about you in the first place, requests to access or delete will usually be answered with "we have no data linked to you." You always have the unconditional right to delete the App from your device, which removes all locally-stored game state.
You may contact Soundica at admin@soundica.app to exercise these rights. Indian users may also contact the Data Protection Board under the DPDP Act, 2023; EU/UK users may contact their local data-protection authority (e.g. ICO in the UK, CNIL in France, the Irish DPC).
The App is suitable for all ages and contains no content directed solely at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (under 16 in some EU member states, under 18 for "children" under the Indian DPDP Act).
The game contains no third-party SDKs, no advertising, and no analytics. Artwork and typefaces are bundled inside the App under their respective licenses (see the Licenses page); nothing is fetched from content networks at play time.
Gameplay produces no network traffic to secure; the in-app legal viewer loads pages from soundica.app over HTTPS. Local data is stored in standard Android app-private storage, isolated from other apps by the Android sandbox. The App requests only the minimum permissions needed to render the game, play audio, and (on phone/tablet builds) display these documents.
If this policy changes materially, we will update the "Effective" date and, where required by law, prompt you in-app.
