1. News content

News headlines, short excerpts, and thumbnails are the property of the respective publishers and are shown with attribution and a link to the original article, under the fair use, fair dealing, quotation, and news-reporting exceptions described in the Terms of Service. Google News feed items additionally carry the original publisher's name as supplied by the feed. No full articles are reproduced and no publisher content is stored on Soundica servers.

2. Podcasts

Podcast metadata and artwork come from Apple's public iTunes directory; episode audio streams directly from each show's own host. All podcast rights remain with their owners.

3. Audiobooks

Audiobooks are public-domain recordings, principally by LibriVox volunteers, streamed from the Internet Archive (archive.org). LibriVox recordings are dedicated to the public domain. Source and license metadata for every chapter is carried in the App's catalog.

Every track passes a source allow-list check tied to its verified origin before playback. Nothing is rehosted.

5. Attribution for CC-BY music

386 of the calm and meditation tracks are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution licence (CC-BY 1.0 through 4.0), which requires that the creator be credited. The following 128 artists are credited here and in the App:

Three tracks in this collection reached us from netlabel compilations whose individual creator is not recorded in the source metadata (Our Skies 1, Elegy IV, The Leaf On The Pond). If you are the creator of one of these, or if any credit above is wrong or incomplete, contact us and we will correct it or remove the track.

6. Assets bundled in the App

Most audio streams from its original host, but a small number of assets ship inside the App itself:

Background music bed. The optional music bed under news narration (off by default; enable it in Settings) is "Funk Game Loop" by Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com), licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0, creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0. Source: incompetech.com/music/royalty-free.
Composer portraits. 51 portraits of classical composers, all of whom died well over a century ago. The portraits are historical works in the public domain by expiry of term.
Category and mood artwork. The ambient category icons and the App's own iconography are original artwork created for Soundica and are not third-party assets.
Car category and genre tiles. Seven photographic tiles used as category artwork in the car interface are Creative Commons Attribution works:

Soundica FM is built on open-source software including AndroidX and Jetpack Compose, Kotlin and kotlinx-coroutines, Media3 (ExoPlayer), and Coil, each under the Apache License 2.0. The full family-wide component list with notices is maintained at soundica.app/licenses.html.

8. Trademarks and complaints

Publisher names and logos identify their sources and remain the trademarks of their owners; their use in the App is nominative. For copyright questions or removal requests, see Section 8 of the Terms of Service.
